Computational modelling in medicine
1. Heart rate data generator.
It is our first experience. Heart rate data generator generates HR sample (n=100...1000) and some connected physiologic parameter that could influence the HR. This generator can be use in studying process, scientific goals. It allowes to change the strength of connections between some parameter and produce the correponding csv file with plots.
The following further research directions and topics are planned:
- Modeling of the optimal heart rate under resting and exercise conditions
- Submaximal exercise heart rate analysis
- Chronotropic adaptation and chronotropic incompetence
- Median-based versus mean-based heart rate analysis
- Histogram-based analysis of heart rhythm distributions and variability
Electrophysiology Models.
- Mathematical and dynamical models of pacemaker-mediated tachycardia (PMT) stability
- Stability analysis of supraventricular tachycardias (SVT)
- Graph-theoretical and network-based electrophysiological models
- Modeling of entrainment phenomena and stimulation dynamics
- Ventricular tachycardia (VT) exit-site modeling and substrate analysis
Physiological Systems.
- Investigation of physiological data in relation to environmental and climatic factors
- Biological rhythms and temporal physiological variability
- Thermodynamic and systems-based physiological models
